Welcome to our site
The City of Carlisle Orchestra (formerly Eden Concert Orchestra) was established in 1962. Its objective is to provide an opportunity for regular rehearsals of the symphony repertoire for amateur and professional players. Players should be a minimum of Grade 7 standard and there is no age restriction. See ‘Join The Orchestra’ for more details.
The Orchestra plays three concerts a year in the city. For at least one of these concerts, guest professional soloists or gifted amateurs are invited to perform with the orchestra.
