The orchestra membership covers all ages, ranging from teens to the retired. The orchestra's conductor is John Hammond and the leader is Catherine Swarbrick (see Musicians' Profiles).
The orchestra rehearses on Tuesday
evenings 7.30pm - 9.30pm
during school term time.

The orchestra is a self-financing organisation. We are dependent on revenue from ticket sales and membership fees which currently are £12 per term or £30 for three terms. Membership is free to students and new members get the first term free. The orchestra also supports local charities.
